Primary
Arlene Sandberg of LMN Tree has a fabulous FREE Common Core resource. Here activity is titled: Making Sentences with Sentence Frames. This will help students write sentence by using sentence frames about winter.

Intermediate

Laura Candler has two great FREE resources here for instant download! The first is titled: Island Conquer Area and Perimeter.  This game will help students explore area and perimeter on a coordinate grid.

The second FREE resource is titled: Factor Race Math Game. Students will race against the clock to find the factors of a number!

Secondary
Jana Wilson, of Thinking Out Loud, has a Show Not Tell Lesson Plan that is great for grades 6-8 students when writing basic paragraphs with no description.
