Intermediate
Natalie Kay has a resource titled Author Response Common Core Writing Activity for grades 3-5. This will get your students writing about a book they have read while hitting the writing standards.
Secondary
Tracee Orman has a fun activity titled: What's Hot-What's Not Classroom Activity for Any Content Area. Students will have to use critical thinking skills to complete the engaging assignment.
